Campbellford, Ontario

Do you love upcycling and recycling? On Saturday, August 4 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, a new, fun and whimsical, festival is coming to Old Mill Park in Campbellford. Pallets on the Town will feature art, ideas and function pieces created using wooden pallets. This is a competition with categories including: art, furniture, Canadiana, home décor, garden, youth and builder’s choice. Completed projects will be on display for judging. Live music provided by a Caileh Band, enjoy food and vendors. Visit us on Facebook: Pallets on the Town for more information and applications to submit a design.
This event is partnered with Precision Wood Products in Campbellford to supply used pallets to interested participants who can enter their creations. There is no fee to enter and is open to all residents of Northumberland County. Participants must fill in an application, selecting one of the above categories, and will create a piece from used pallets.

Friday, August 10 through to Sunday, August 12, 2018. The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hasting and Prince Edward Counties started Quinte’s Ribfest in 2007 for the community to enjoy a fun filled family festival. 2018 is the 12th year for providing this amazing community event to the citizens of Quinte and beyond!

After hosting the East Street Market at the Cow Palace for the past 5 years, we are moving “UP” in the world. This year, the market will be held at the Town Hall in Warkworth. We are anticipating a full house with our new deluxe accommodations. So come on down to the “NEW” Uptown Market, featuring local crafters, farmers and artisans extraordinaire on Sun Aug 19, from 10AM-3PM. This is held in conjunction with the Warkworth Long Lunch and is sure to be a fun day.

The 5K Foam Fest is a one of kind Obstacle Course based fun run. Join us for 22+ obstacles including the world’s largest inflatable waterslide, mud pits and 2.5 MILLION cubic feet of foam! Rock out all day to 12,000 watts of awesome music, enjoy a FREE kids zone for kids 7 and under, delicious food, great vendors and beer gardens. With a variety obstacles and a ton of foam the run is an exciting challenge for experienced and beginner runners alike. The 5K Foam Fest is not a hardcore run it is a FUNCORE run. The celebration is a self-guided tour of the Trails in Trent Hills that will test your skills with a trivia contest to learn more about the Trans Canada Trail, the Rotary Trail, the Millennium Lilac Trail, and the trail systems in Ferris Provincial Park and Seymour Conservation Area. Hike, bike or take a leisurely stroll to find clues to a
series of questions that test your knowledge.
