Ontario Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer (Class FD1)

Requirements:

  • Have graduated from a recognized mortuary school
  • Possess or be in a position to obtain a license to practice both funeral direction as well as embalming in the Province of Ontario (Please note: This position is not for an Interning Student)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Funeral software, etc.
  • Professional appearance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid G class driver’s license, without any restrictions, and a clean driver’s abstract
  • Be able to provide a Criminal Record Check
  • Provide references (when the time comes) for us to speak to those who have had the pleasure of working with you in the past
  • Competitive wage, commensurate with experience

  • Living accommodations may be temporarily available to a candidate considering relocation
  • This position will have duties at any of our 4 locations; Trenton, Trenton West, Campbellford, Warkworth, and transportation between these locations is provided via our fleet of vehicles

 

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
